Bill Bernsen is a 30 year student of Master Tung Kai-ying. Master Tung is the grandson of Grand Master Tung Ying-chieh who studied with Master Yang Cheng-fu for 17 years.

Bill has several student teachers in New Hampshire and some who have spread the art to other states.
Mr. Bernsen's classes emphasize form, structure, opening of the joints, sinews and the mind.
Bill hosts Master Tung's biannual Tai Chi Chuan seminars in New Hampshire.since 1994. Master Tung's son Master Tung Chen-wei has been also teaching Spring and Late Summer seminars for the past 6 years.
Master Tung says "Tai Chi Chuan is not a display of strength, power or violence, it is to attain serenity, tranquility and discover of one's self. It is truly an exercise of the spirit."
